ALEC Holiday Dates

The Australian Living Evidence Collaboration (ALEC) wishes our members and supporters a very safe and happy holiday season!

Our team will be taking a break from December 21 2023 until January 3 2024. If you have any questions or enquiries over the break, we will respond in the new year.

Before we wrap up our 2023 working year, we’d like to share our huge thanks for your ongoing support and contributions to the Australian Living Evidence Collaboration throughout this year of change, growth and evolution.

Throughout 2023, ALEC's pioneer living guidelines in stroke, diabetes, arthritis and kidney disease have gone from strength to strength – and our world first living stroke guideline marked its 5th birthday.

Looking ahead, we're very excited about our new flagship project, the Living Evidence for Australian Pregnancy and Postnatal Care (LEAPP) Guidelines. Earlier in the year, ALEC joined forces with the Australian College of Midwives and RANZCOG on an Australian Government tender to produce these new living guidelines, and just six months on we have an amazing collaboration of 24 national health organisations on board and new recommendations under way.

We have much to look forward to in the year ahead, including a renewed focus on translating our guidelines into improved policy and practice, and exploring climate health as a future priority area for living evidence.

For now, the ALEC team wishes you all the best for the holiday season ahead.
